Fortune Auto Coilovers - 500 Series for 93-03 Mazda RX-7 (FD3S)

Part Number:FA500-FD3S

Fortune Auto engineers were tasked with a focused goal to make the Generation 8 500 Series dampers the best single adjustable system on the market at a very affordable price point. All systems are completely built in-house by our engineering staff in Richmond, Virginia. They insist on building bespoke suspension in order to offer the best quality control in the industry.

Fortune Auto approaches the science of suspension with a mentality of customization that has raised the industry's standards of performance.

Fortune Auto’s engineers focused to make the Digressive coilover technology to allow stiff low-speed performance, but during higher speed events, the suspension becomes absorbent to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control. Perfect for track or street use.

CUSTOM. MODULAR. REBUILDABLE.

Front coilovers do not have camber plates due to the design of the suspension from Mazda.

Everyday Driveability

Research on the racetracks has helped them develop the Fortune Auto 500 Series into a great all-around shock absorber. Using high quality components that meet strict standards allows optimized comfort, reliability, and longevity.

Occasional Track Use

Digressive piston technology allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e. high speed bumps) the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control.

No camber plats

On the fortune auto Website It specifies that the 500 series comes with camber plats . This is the only reason I chose these over to BC’s. And in the pictures on the website it shows that camper plats . I would have saved money and got that BC’s

The FD RX7 is one of the cars that does not change camber through the front strut. This is due to the design from Mazda. Mazda created a upper lower arm setup that is superior to Macpherson front. The shock moving will do nothing to change camber since the shock is mounted inboard on the lower control arm. The camber is changed through the use of adjustable arms. BC coilovers nor any other brand will have camber plates as they will not change camber on the Rx7. We would be happy to help you source some camber arms for your car, shoot us an email at Sales@coiloverdepot.com
