This coilover kit is a perfect for the Volvo 850, so don't worry that it doesn't directly say Volvo 850 in the title. The fit and finish is awesome, and I was impressed with the some of it's design details like the "L" cross section sway bar link mount, where many companies would just use a straight cross section.
One thing I was not impressed with is the front top hats are not at all contoured to fit the uneven surface of the Volvo strut towers, I knew about this before purchase, and other companies have the same situation. Initially I had the damping adjusted too high for the rough streets here in Colorado, now I have the rear set to 8 clicks, and the front set to 6 clicks, and the car is smooth and well damped. I think the higher settings, (mid way and up) quickly become over damped for rough streets, and tend to upset the car more than soak up the bumps. I installed the coilovers at the height setting that they came in the box, and although it looks sick, on near full compression there is a hint of bump steer, so I would recommend maybe a half inch to an inch higher than they come in the box. I'm a firm believer in function before form, and these coilovers deliver, I chose these coilovers because BC did their homework, and the price was good. Most of the other coilover brands don't have their spring rates right. My calculations showed the BC coils had the right front to rear spring rate ratio, whereas most other companies have a heavily front biased ratio. After driving with these coilovers for a while, I would like stiffer springs, maybe 7k/5k, or 8k/6k. Overall I am really happy with these coilovers.
