The KW Variant 3; race technology for the road, with adjustable compression and rebound damping. State of the art motorsport technology enables the Type R to become an even more agile sports car. The KW Variant 3 coilover kit gives you the option of continuous lowering adjusted directly on the stainless steel strut. Adjustment of these coilovers ranges from 15 to 35 mm in the front and 5 to 25 mm in the rear.
In addition to a lowered center of gravity, the KW coilover kit allows you to adjust the damping forces independently in rebound (16 clicks) and compression damping (12 clicks). The independently adjustable compression and rebound dampening allows for custom driving setups. The exclusive KW patented system has dual level valves that allow for adjustment of the rebound dampening for your road comfort and the compression dampening that controls the driving dynamics. The damping characteristics were tested and determined after numerous driving tests on the motorway, country roads, and on the KW 7-post rig to significantly improve the performance of the Type R. Drivers with a KW coilover suspension kit installed benefit from KW's expertise in motorsport translated to the road.
