Unfortunately, this item takes up to six hours to install because the gas tank and exhaust have to be taken out in order to release the bolt that holds onto the control alarm which allows the spring to be taken out and exchanged for these new ones I bought these springs with the intention. It will be a quick Way to make my car look a little lower, but after it was too complex for myself, I brought it to a local shop that is in the market for installation of suspension components for springs that cost $350 they at $125 and hour for up to 6 hours of very tedious work. It’s just not worth it if you’re not wanting to take the entire rear end apart including your fuel tank and exhaust. I so not suggest buying these.

The shop that told you all that had to be removed has no idea what they are doing, or they were padding the labor hours. The rear springs require very little to be removed. Its super simple and one of the easier installs for lowering springs on a vehicle. There is no reason to ever need to touch the gas tank on the vehicle when removing springs nor should the exhaust or drive shaft have to be removed. I would have taken the vehicle to another shop for a second opinion.
