I've been using sleeve compression springs in the past. It gave it a nice look, but a crazy ride (for the most part SK2). However, for this ride, I wanted a "stance", but not sacrificing my ride this time. I went through several websites before landing on BCRacing coilovers. Da^^N!
This coilover system is the truth! I'm not paid for this review, I'm only excited that it's money WELL spent. First, the regular drop is mind blowing (no need for an extreme kit unless you want it literally sitting on the ground). Second, the stance is absolutely beautiful! Third, no need for camber kits, as the drop from the strut body didn't affect the camber. Fourth, the adjusting dampers at the top of the strut body actually works (the car is 2" lower, but rides like stock after adjusting softness). Lastly, I'm so dang satisfied!
FYI, I started off slow, but over the weekend I've got her up to 120MPH with no scrapping bumps, no bottoming out on the undercarriage of strut body. The speed isn't important, the responsiveness in the struts is what's important at those speeds. I just wanted to make sure this kit can handle what I throw at it; and it does!
