Wheel alignment is absolutely crucial when modifying your car. Alignment can affect every aspect of your driving experience, from straight line stability, understeer, oversteer, acceleration, braking and tire wear. Although stock components allow slight alignments from the stock suspension settings, they often are not able to properly align the car after the suspension has been modified. From the factory, most cars are set to have understeer and for optimum tire wear at stock height; understeer is often undesired from a performance standpoint but is always dependent on driver style, therefore the adjust-ability of the alignment of a vehicle is critical when tuning for speed. The clock does not lie and having the vehicle alignment can make seconds of a difference.
Megan Racing has now developed camber arms for the B.M.W crowd that will help attain a higher level of control and performance. Constructed of a Reinforced Rubber Bushing , these control arms remain light weight while being able to take the punishment of competition and extreme conditions. A 3-Stage powder coating process the control arms will easily combat the elements for years of performance.
This product is the best bang for the buck & the quality far exceeds the pricing for them . My E46 was great impacted from this upgrade .
The are quality built. A bit of a pain in the **** to install but that’s not the products fault. The only thing that I don’t like is that the nuts that lock the adjustment on the left side, the one closest to the diff is kind of behind the exhaust. so in order to adjust it and tighten properly you have to move the exhaust. Not a huge deal but it adds a little extra work to the alignment. Note: this is on the M3. I don’t think you’d run across that issue on a non M
Easy install. Fitment was perfect. Multiple Adjustment points are a plus. They look so dang good. I can finally do a proper alignment with my coilover setup. Tips to anyone installing these, support the rear differential and loosen it by threading the bolts out a bit and use a pry bar to give you some slack to get them control arm bolts out. Took me about 2 hours solo to install and put everything back together. If you have coil overs, these are a necessity unless you wana keep buying tires every few months due to negative camber.
