Hey yo! I’ve just got these installed in my 1994 EA11R and I just wanna say they are a big improvement from those stock ones. Great handling and the car doesn’t roll taking tight corners anymore. Car is still a little rough on the road but hey it’s racing suspension and my roads are bad so eh? Totally recommend I followed the guys steps in the other review I’m currently running 14 x 5 rims with 175 /50 tread and I did 6 turns from the bottom of the coil and it’s a little lifted but I’m going to swap for 15 x 6 rims and 185/50 and that should make it look alright don’t forget to remove the rear ball joints mine were stuck so I had to remove frame side and then you will have to disconnect the front steering linkage I had to chop the springs on my front stock coils to get them out.
Excellent experience. Ordered the Silvers coilovers with Swift springs and even with COVID going on I had them at my door in a couple weeks.
The are just as comfortable as stock, but with less bouncing after a bump, and even with the shocks set at the halfway point handling is much crisper with less body roll.
Installation requires removing the rear ball joints on the rear, and lower control arm joint on the front (note remove both front struts before trying to install new coils, or else extra stress on the sway bar mill make the install much harder.)
I set my coils exactly 6 full rotations from the bottom, and the wheels have great fitment with zero rubbing.
