TEIN Flex Z Coilovers are the latest generation of high end coilovers. The difference with Flex Z is that you are getting a coilover that would normally cost double the price. The new manufacturing systems that TEIN has put in place with this coilover has allowed them to produce these coilovers at lower prices and pass that savings on to you. Quality and performance remain a top priority. TEIN builds these Flex Z coilovers with the highest standards.
TEIN Flex Z coilovers have an awesome twin tube internal system that gives you one of the best street rides from any coilovers. In addition, the full length height adjustment system enables you to lower the car to the max allowable level and still maintain the same shock travel and ride quality.
TEIN Flex Z coilovers are 16 way dampening adjustable (compression and rebound together) so you can made the ride stiffer or softer depending on what sort of ride quality you are wanting. For example, you can set the dampening to a low setting for when you are daily driving the car and set it up to a stiffer setting for track days or spirited driving.
These coilovers include upper mounts for each installation. Each kit comes with either reinforced rubber upper mount or a pillowball upper mount. Pillow ball upper mounts are for strut suspensions and include front camber adjustment.
TEIN takes pride in their products and each one is built to be the best quality possible. TEIN coats each Flex Z with ""ZT Coating"" that prevents rust and has multiple layers to ensure the best finish.

Ordered Tein flex z’s for my 95’ sc400. Install was smooth as butter following factory procedure and Tein’s instructions and specs, rides very smooth at decent settings, big upgrade from the 27 year old shocks and springs in the front, and even bigger upgrade from the oe spec aftermarket suspension parts that are available for this car. These Tein shocks and springs blow away my expectations to be completely honest.
Didn’t want my car to be super low, not super stiff, and these did just that for me as well as give me the option to go that route at the same time. Can drive this car for hours and hours it’s very comfy. Didn’t have to relocated wire harness above fender, no rubbing. These were spot on.
Coilover Depot accidentally sent the wrong set of coils at first but they quickly resolved the issue and I was on my way again shortly after the mix up. Still just spent another $1k+ on this site anyways for the Megan suspension arm kit (for sc400). I want to get even more load up the 10 gauge parts shotgun. Love it, thank you all so much. Give me your bushings.
I can find the spring rate is there a page that shows the spring length?
I bought the tien flex z for camber but know camber plates came with them
SC300's By factory suspension design do not use camber plates to adjust camber. The suspension are a double arm setup and the shock is not attached to the wheel spindle so when you move the shock just the shock moves. To adjust camber on the SC's you need to use upper Adjustable control arms.
