Ive had the bc racing br series installed for over a year now. Around 40k miles or so on them. My car is a heavy 5.0 v8 sedan. With the airmatic suspension, it rode smooth but around corners i felt like i was in a grandpa car, every hard corner their was so much body roll even with decent tires. After i installed the coilovers, it was like love at first sight again. Lol. The car looks awesome. Handles amazing. How a true german luxury sport sedan should. I was told by i shop they would charge me around $5,000 to do the coilover conversion to strut masters (who i know are notorious for making ride height even higher) which wasnt a opition for me. I through out the bc racing idea. He chuckled... Saying i will ruin my car. I laughed back and hung up. Ordered the coilovers for 995 and 2 oem w211 e350 rear lower control arms and got to work. The rear suspenion was a bit of a b***h but with basic tools and a couple torx drives its very manageable. I did the whole conversion for $1500. With zero help, zero air tools and no star scanner. I dont have the STOP CAR TO LOW message or anything. It took me about 3 days of 2hrs a day to get the entire job done. But ultimately im extemely pleased even after a year of beating on it and 40k miles still no bouncing or any noises of any sort. You will have a slight movement in the rear over bumps. I think theres a slight amount of play in the rear strut, not the spring. Which im sure could be fixed with a couple washers. If youve thought about it, do it. You wont regret it. Here she is w211 e500. Ps bcracing. I would be willing to do full tear down, how to and advert. If interested please email me.
