BC Racing Coilovers NEW DR Series is perfect for street driving and occasional road course duty. With easily accessible adjustment knobs for fine tuning your compression/rebound and separately adjustable ride height, having a performance coilover system couldn’t be any easier. You choose how low or high you want your vehicle, no preset ride height here, and patented concave lower locking ring keeps it locked in. Ride height is adjusted by raising and lowering the shock body; this maintains the same ideal damper stroke at ALL ride height levels for the best ride under any conditions. The pillowball mount option provides the most available feedback possible from your suspension and to sharpen your steering response. All this while providing a strong, attractive looking coilover system.

The DR series BC Racing Coilovers use a large 44mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximize oil capacity. As the damper unit operates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as it's temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.

BC Racing Coilovers use a very high quality oil with their coilovers but go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large 53mm diameter damper body. This increases the capacity of the unit which increases the volume of oil which in turn reduces the peak temperature and significantly improves damper performance.

BC Racing Coilovers new proprietary digressive piston design offers increased dampening force at low piston velocities while maintaining a linear damper feel at higher piston velocities. One of the greatest advantages of increased low-speed damping force relates to what the driver feels, e.g roll, pitch, dive, and quick weight transitions on technical road courses. This is the key difference between the BC Racing BR series and DR series, but makes the biggest difference where it counts!

Spring rates  7kg/mm Front, 10kg/mm Rear. 

All DR Coilover kits are built to order and have a 3-4 week lead time before shipping. 

Custom spring rates are available.  You can request custom spring rates by entering the rates you want in the special instructions box after clicking add to cart.  Spring rates up to 18K are available in BC Springs. Rates higher then 18K will require Swift spring upgrade.  

All extreme low kits, swift springs, and custom rates are considered custom builds and will have a lead time of 2-3 weeks before shipping.

promises not fulfilled no covers sent with the order

when i ordered thecoilovers my card was declined so i had to wait a couple of days for a new card to arrive you did not want to lose the sale so you sent me an e-mail saying if i completed the order you would send covers for the coilovers


Love the stance on my c6 vette great product ship on time.

Love them

So they fit great and I had no issues installing. Car feels tight in corners and small bumps do not upset the car or feel any differently than stock. The ride quality over larger bumps can be a bit rough compared to factory. I have not had any other coil overs on my c5z. They are basically exactly what I expected. Out of the box they did not lower the rear Any and lowered the front about two inches. So some adjustment will likely be required for how you want your car ride height. The picture is the out of the box ride height.

Haven't driven yet

The install wasn't bad but I think it should come with new front top bushings. Otherwise awesome so far. I haven't driven the car yet so give me two weeks to finish a few things and I can give another review.
